The center located in the popular Silosi is also the largest climbing venue in Belgrade, as high as 28 meters, with six carefully designed and secured routes of different levels, for both beginners and local competitors. The project was jointly conceived and realized by the nonprofit organization “Gaia pokret” and the sports association “Utopia,” with major support from the company A1 Srbija.

The climbing wall spans two “batteries” on Silo 3, beneath which is the mural “Zemlja u plamenu,” created by our established artist Vuk Đurić – Endo, which draws attention to the too-rapid melting of permanently snow-covered mountain peaks that are home to climbers and mountaineers. All routes are certified by the relevant institutions and the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade, and holds of the highest global standard have also been procured—used in official world competitions.
As of this year, sport climbing has also been included in the official program of the Olympic Games in Paris, and interestingly, it is precisely in Silosi that the exhibition “Više od sporta” is being held from June 7 to 23, organized by the Olympic Committee of Serbia.
Sport climbing is considered the fastest-growing sport on the global scene precisely because of its popularity among recreational athletes, so today you will see preschool children, and even entire families, using some of the climbing walls and activating the whole body. It is important to note that on this wall you climb with a safety harness on a rope, to all competition safety standards, so the possibility of injury is almost negligible, regardless of your level of prior knowledge and experience.

The “Silosi Utopia” center itself will also offer training programs, as well as the option of group training for sports teams on preparations or educational institutions, as well as team building within companies. Competitions of various levels are also planned at Silosi, festivals of urban culture and recreation, as well as cooperation with rescue services such as fire brigades
As a long-standing partner of Dom kulture Silosi Beograd, with which it shares a focus on preserving culture, ecology, education, and public health, A1 Srbija, by supporting the construction of an outdoor climbing venue, continues to contribute to creating high-quality and innovative content for fellow citizens.
Belgrade’s social hub on the European scene as well
Thanks to the nonprofit organization Gaia pokret, Silosi have become a hub of Belgrade’s social life, where leading exhibitions are held, exceptionally popular parties, food and drink festivals, performances for children and adults, panels, conferences, workshops, and always well-attended bazaars of local brands.
After numerous global media outlets have already revealed this unique place to the world, the next period will bring the presentation of Silosi on the international scene, with programs and projects aimed at bringing visitors to Belgrade and Serbia.
